Bluffaroo is built to collect as little data as possible. Here's exactly what happens.

What we store

• In your browser: your chosen language, theme, sound preference, and cookie consent choice. Stored in localStorage. Never sent to us.
• On our server, temporarily: active game state — usernames you choose, answers you write, votes you cast. Stored in memory only, deleted when your game ends or after 2 hours of inactivity. Never written to a database.

What we don't store

• Your IP address (used only for rate limiting, never logged or persisted)
• Any account information (we have no accounts)
• Your real name, email, phone, or location
• Your answers after a game ends

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and (with your consent) preference cookies for theme/language/sound. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies — yet. If we add any in the future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent again.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts our website and provides DDoS protection.
• Railway hosts our game server.
• Neither has access to your game content beyond what's required for routing traffic.

Your rights (EU residents)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. We don't hold any persistent personal data, but if you have questions email hello@bluffaroo.com.
